Highlights May to 8th November, 2014

Here is a slideshow of photos from Glasgow Ramblers' last Programme that finished in Nov 2014.

The facts that we visited the International Rose Trials in Tollcross Park in June, and had a talk on Gaelic Hill and Mountain Names in October, gives a double justification for using Runrig's song “An Ròs” (The Rose), from their first album in 1978, as one of the pieces of background music. Altogether now: “Ged's breagha an ròs, le dhuilleagan sìoda...” (What? You don't know all the words?)

The second piece of music, “Solus na Madainn” (The Morning Light), is also by Runrig, but 20 years later.
